CHSP Channel Type Distributor

Distributors of the channel type are one of the most liquid distributors. For structured packing, they work particularly well. Up to 1500 mm column diameter can be accommodated using this. Both a single piece and segmented versions of it are available. Due to the liquid’s channelized design, the packing’s maximal cross-section is covered, and the liquid is distributed uniformly. due to the evenly distributed vapor flow, also has a low-pressure drop. Both drip tubes and bottom holes can be included with the distributor. Wherever the possibility of fouling exists, drip tubes may be used.

CHSP Splash Plate Distributor

In a Splash Plate Distributor, pre-distribution of the feed liquid into each arm channel occurs from a main channel (mounted above) at a perfectly controlled rate. Due to the splash-plate’s spreading effect, it has fewer lateral holes. Additionally, compared to typical discharge systems, it has bigger hole widths. Anti-plugging, created by the wide holes, and the lateral discharge of liquid are some of its key benefits.

CHSP Trough Distributor

The Trough Style Distributor consists of several long “troughs” that receive liquids from one or more parting boxes. The parting box promotes proportionate liquid distribution and assists in regulating the feed velocity to the troughs. Vapor can move across the area between the troughs. Since there are no joints, parting boxes have the advantage of a great liquid seal.

CHSP Pipe-arm Distributor

Pipe distributors are relatively basic distributors that are made up of a header and lateral assembly. Through perforated holes under the pipe, single or double-row perforated pipes will equally transport the liquid to the packing bed. The Pipe-Arm distributor is made for columns with an ID greater than 400 mm. It produces a high open area with a very low-pressure drop and requires very little column height. Due to the low distribution quality it offers, there are few applications for it. The primary header is attached to a column wall clip at one end and flanged at the other.

CHSP Spray Distributor

Spray distributors are made up of pipe assemblies with spray nozzles mounted on them. In heat transfer applications, cleaning operations, and other situations where a high vapor handling capacity is crucial, it is typically employed for shallow beds. Additionally, it can manage slow liquid flow rates. The distributor is made to produce circles of liquid that overlap one another, completely covering the space beneath it. A main header and laterals with downpipes and spray nozzles make up this distributor.

CHSP Pan Type Distributor

A high-performance distributor, the pan-type distributor has critical-sized orifices that are uniformly distributed across the pan’s base for proper liquid downflow and enough open space for upward vapor flow. This distributor can be produced as a single piece or in multiple pieces. All joints in multi-piece construction are gasketed.
