Packing Support

The support plate’s main function is to distribute both streams while holding packings in place without unduly impeding gas and liquid movement. It offers structural stability and is an excellent way of retention for packed beds because it removes obstructions to liquid passage throughout a system.

CHSP Grid support

Packing support grids are also known as packing support plates. These items serve mostly as structural supports for the tower packing bed. There are several uses for packing support grids, both in structured and random packing processes. Support grids are made to be strong enough to hold packed beds under typical working conditions without limiting the column’s capacity. To help support rings of support and reinforcing bars, packing support grids must be welded to the tower wall. The risk of liquid flooding across a system is decreased by packing support grids, which also support high-efficiency gas and liquid circulation.

CHSP Multibeam support

As implied by the name, a multi-beam packing support is constructed from numerous support beams. It can be made of ceramic, fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP), plastic (PP, PVDF, CPVC), and metallic (carbon steel, stainless steel) materials. The absorption tower, washing tower, and distillation towers all frequently use multi-beam packing support for random packing. For high mass transfer efficiency, it has a high open area, a very low-pressure drop, and distinct gas and liquid pathways. To withstand exceptionally high pressure from packing and flowing liquids, it has good rigidity and a large loading capacity. Multi-beam packing’s structural design might aid in increasing open space.
